U21 Champions visit St. Johns NS.

The Boys and Girls of Scoil Eoin, Creatlach gave the visiting heroes from the Clare U21 Hurlers a rapturous welcome on Monday September 21st last.
Three proud club hurlers, Conor McGrath, Sean Collins and Liam Markham held the Cross of Cashel All Ireland Trophy aloft beneath a guard of honour from 5th class on their arrival.

With the proud locals were Caimin Morey of Sixmilebridge, Donal Touhy and Cian Dillon of Crusheen, Eoin Hayes of Newmarket and Cillian Duggan. Also present for the trophy’s first visit to Cratloe were some proud patrons of the local Minor and senior Clubs for whom Jim Enright (Vice President) and Denis Conroy (Chairman) expressed their thanks respectively.

The Pupils entertained their stars with the Rose of Clare aswell as reels on the tin whistle and proudly wore their Saffron and Blue to mark the occasion.
The Cratloe contingent gave inspiring words to the many youngsters who hope to emulate them in the near future.
