Minor Club Quiz 2015
The busy Easter bank holiday weekend kicked off with a very successful Minor Club Quiz, held upstairs in the sports hall on Good Friday evening. It yielded close on €800 in funds for the minor club. 21 teams took part and we we're delighted to welcome new families and of course the traditional forces in this annual event!
It was a really enjoyable evening and we would like to thank Quizmaster extraordinaire Jim Enright who is entertainment in himself! Thanks to Jack Liddane for the amplification, to Joan, Bríd & Mary for the quiz supplies and for keeping the figures in order. We are very grateful to the many parents who provided (meat free) sandwiches and fabulous baked goods! Thanks also to the many sponsors who provided the quiz and raffle prizes and brought spots along on the night, without you the Quiz Night would not be viable.
Finally, congratulations to the winners and runners-up and a big thank you to all who took part and supported the raffle. We hope the quiz will continue to grow and be a part of Cratloe minor club tradition for many years to come.
